Established in 1973, we are a purpose-built, fully equipped small animal hospital located in North Shields. Our practice is easily accessible, has disabled access and there is free parking on The Chase and a parking meter on Spring Terrace, both a couple minutes' walk away.
Alongside our hospital’s facilities and specialist equipment, our friendly and experienced veterinary team provide the highest quality of veterinary care, surgery and treatment – along with regular check-ups and routine procedures.
We strive to provide the very best animal care whilst being welcoming, approachable and compassionate. Our main priorities include ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our patients, clients and team, building professionally enhanced natural rapport and maintaining respect and empathy for all our clients.
Clients who contact the practice outside of normal opening hours will be supported through a hybrid out-of-hours service. Overnight cover may vary depending on staffing levels. At times, care is supported by an on-site veterinary surgeon and/or a qualified nursing team providing inpatient care, telephone advice, and triage.
Should a patient require a clinical examination or further treatment, care will be transferred as needed to the CVS Vets 24/7 team at Alnorthumbria Veterinary Group, Morpeth, who provide continuous, dedicated 24/7 emergency veterinary care.
