Welcome to Springfield Veterinary Hospital - Rotherham

Established in 1964, we are proud to have cared for pets in Rotherham and across South Yorkshire for over 50 years. We are a small animal hospital in Rotherham providing 24-hour care. Our practice is easily accessible; we offer disabled access and on-site parking.

Our friendly and experienced veterinary team provide the highest quality of veterinary care, surgery and treatment – along with regular check-ups and routine procedures.

We have an on-site CT scanner and several vets with advanced qualifications. We accept referrals from other veterinary practices for advanced surgical procedures such as orthopaedics and keyhole surgery, inpatient care, ophthalmology, cardiology and diagnostic imaging.

Continuing professional development is a key focus, with all our vets and nurses striving to learn new skills. We are proud to be an approved training centre for veterinary nurses.

Practice Qualifications
Disclaimer: Data sourced from the RCVS website, accurate as of September 2025. Individuals may be listed under one practice but work across multiple locations. Counts by qualification are not mutually exclusive (e.g. an individual will be both MRCVS and a Certificate holder) and should not be summed. MRCVS denotes a veterinary surgeon registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons; RVN denotes a Registered Veterinary Nurse; Certificate holders are individuals (vets or nurses) with additional postgraduate qualifications in specific clinical areas. Diploma holders are individuals with the highest level of post graduate qualification and are usually recognised specialists in their field.
