Disclaimer: Data sourced from the RCVS website, accurate as of September 2025. Individuals may be listed under one practice but work across multiple locations. Counts by qualification are not mutually exclusive (e.g. an individual will be both MRCVS and a Certificate holder) and should not be summed. MRCVS denotes a veterinary surgeon registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons; RVN denotes a Registered Veterinary Nurse; Certificate holders are individuals (vets or nurses) with additional postgraduate qualifications in specific clinical areas. Diploma holders are individuals with the highest level of post graduate qualification and are usually recognised specialists in their field.
In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours, please call the practice and you will be advised what to do next.
If your call is during the night or at the weekend whilst our practice is closed, please contact The University of Glasgow Vet School or Vets Now Glasgow.
Vets Now and The University of Glasgow Vet School are dedicated emergency services with full-time night staff who will be alert and effective even at unsociable hours. Their qualified vets and nurses have a special interest, experience and training in all aspects of urgent critical care.
Their caring teams are available to provide free telephone advice in the event that you feel that your pet may need urgent care, and they will provide you with an emergency consultation at the Out of Hours clinic if your pet needs to be seen.
