PetMedics Veterinary Surgeons is a group of three practices across Manchester. Our Worsley location is a certificate-led referrals, emergency and critical care hospital. We also accept first opinion appointments on Monday to Friday.
Our skilled, certificate-led veterinary team provide the highest quality, complete care service for your animals – including diagnosis and complex operations. We also have a fully stocked pet shop on-site.
We have multiple certificate holders, who cover an extensive range of referral services for our PetMedic clients and other practices in the surrounding area. These include dentistry, internal medicine, surgery including soft tissue and orthopaedics, imaging, ophthalmology, cryotherapy dermatology, cardiology and diagnostic imaging (including CT) and pet exports.
We are passionate about small, companion animal care, and treat all species. You can register at our Walkden or Salford practices.
In the event of an emergency, we are open 24 hours a day every day – which means that you can see a vet, here at the clinic at any time. If you have an emergency please call the practice and you will be advised what to do next.
Outside of our routine appointment hours, please only call if you are concerned that your pet may need urgent care.
We're proud to be a CVS Vets 24/7 centre, with our own dedicated on-site emergency service with full-time night staff.
Our experienced team of vets and nurses provide continuous care throughout the night, weekends and bank holidays, ensuring your pet is always looked after by professionals trained in urgent critical care.
If you are concerned about your pet, our caring team can offer free telephone advice and will arrange an emergency consultation if your pet needs to be seen.
