Dovecote Veterinary Hospital achieved hospital status in 1995 and have a large team of dedicated staff, and extensive facilities in order to offer caring and comprehensive services to both referring vets and pet owners alike.
Our practice is easily accessible, with disabled access and on-site parking.
State-of-the-art digital imaging facilities: digital X-ray, MRI and CT scanning machines are all right here on site.
In the event of an emergency, we are open 24 hours a day every day – which means that you can see a vet, here at the clinic at any time. If you have an emergency please call the practice and you will be advised what to do next.
Outside of our routine appointment hours, please only call if you are concerned that your pet may need urgent care.

MiNightVet East Midlands are our on-site dedicated emergency service with full-time night staff who will be alert and effective even at unsociable hours. Our qualified vets and nurses have a special interest, experience and training in all aspects of urgent critical care.
The MiNightVet team are available to provide free telephone advice in the event that you feel that your pet may need urgent care, and they will provide you with an emergency consultation here at the practice if your pet needs to be seen out of hours.
